The Fun Part

Who doesn’t love hot sauce? Since 2015, Chef Maximillian Petty has been experimenting with hot sauce flavors in his jewelbox Seattle restaurant Eden Hill Restaurant.

The Real Part

Chef Maximillian Petty’s mom Barbara fell from her bed and severed her spinal cord in August 2012 leaving her a quadriplegic. After meeting with lawyers and care managers the consensus was these types of injuries are just incredibly expensive. Barbara sold her retirement home and blew threw her savings quickly to manage the mounting medical bills. Today Barbara clings to her independence in her Northern California home.

How You’re Doing Good

$1 of every Ho*Spice bottle sold is donated directly to a terminally ill or injured patient. Money raised won’t hardly drop a bucket in the insane medical costs having a critical illness or injury accumulates, but we hope a little extra helps improve the quality of life of the people we love.
